Where and how was the wriitng originated?

It's obvious that Chinese writings was originated in China and was originated by people in China? But Wait are some of the key things that make this writing so ancient? So to start off China's written language is one of the worlds oldest written languages. This form of writing was developed about 3,000 years ago in China. This written language was written is characters. It's a little hard to describe what the characters look like but here's a little idea instead of actual words they have characters.
